Hanatabaとは文字どおり花束。
水面に浮かんだ水芭蕉が
あつまって、一つの花束に見える様を
表現しています。
Hanataba is literally "bouket"in Japanese .
I imagined Asian skunk cabbages on the water surface and they gathered then looks like one huge bouket.
水面をつくりたかったので
コットンにたくさんインクを含ませて
そのうえにサランラップをのせました。
Cotton was soaked by blue ink,was covered by cling film.
It looks like water surface,right?

コラージュします
水芭蕉の有機的な形だけ取り入れて。
Then collage.
Shapes I imagined asian skunk cabbages.
そうすると最終的にこのようなイメージに。
Finally, it becomes this image.
色数が多くて表現したい図に
ずれがあったのでモノトーンに！

I felt that colors are existed so many on it.
"Hanataba" have had to be more simple so
I choosed black and white.
